Session of Elders

The Session of Elders serves as the governing body, with full and final responsibility for the mission and organization of First Presbyterian Church near Ely.  The Session typically meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.                           

Board of Deacons

The Board of Deacons serves as a body to minister to the spiritual, health, and physical needs of members of First Presbyterian in times of crisis and through ongoing volunteer ministries of caring. 
 
Some of our ministries are:

• Meal Ministry - delivering meals to members in need
• Visiting those who have limited mobility and are home-bound
• Assisting with home communion as needed
• Assembling Christmas cookie plates for carolers to leave with homebound members they visit

If a family or individual of the church is in need of Deacon care or meals due to illness, death, birth or other circumstances, please contact the church office Thank you!
